Students at our Yale Summer School will enjoy an unparalleled learning experience, designed to equip them with the skills needed for the world of university and to shape future careers. 13-15-year-old students will be instructed in the key principles of their chosen field, whilst 16-18-year-olds will be prepared for their university applications and guided in their career aspirations by learning more about different specialisms within their field.
Our two-week academic timetables consist of 40 hours of lessons in career-focussed subjects, combining various courses. All of this takes place in the truly inspiring academic environment of one the historic colleges of Yale University.

The summer school will organize a city tour of New York, giving students the opportunity to visit iconic attractions such as Times Square, Central Park, and the Statue of Liberty. In addition, students will engage in a variety of social activities in New York, including talent shows, fashion events, sports competitions, parties, and more, which will enhance their understanding of each other. At the end of the program, a grand graduation ceremony will be held to celebrate their achievements and cherished memories.

Explore Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Leap into the exciting world of business, finance and marketing. This course equips students with the skills to launch and manage their own business, helping them to develop the mindset to become ground-breaking entrepreneurs. Students are immersed in compelling case studies and engage with real business entrepreneurs who are taking new business ideas to success.

Explore Medicine: Expand your understanding of medicine through practical, hands-on medical simulations and a broad introduction to the basics of human anatomy, physiology and psychology. Investigate the common practices of medicine and biomedical research, and explore the critical competencies needed to become a successful doctor, nurse or psychologist.

Explore Engineering & Technology: Investigate the fields of Civil, Mechanical, Biomedical, and Aerospace engineering in a comprehensive introduction to engineering and survey of emerging technical applications, from self-driving vehicles to space travel. Learn to think like an engineer and strengthen critical thinking, problem solving and creativity skills.

Curing the Future - Medicine & Disease: Explore the fields of biology, genetics, neuroscience, genomics, emergency medicine and human anatomy. Investigate the common practices of medicine and biomedical research, and gain practical insight into a career as a surgeon, doctor, nurse or health professional.

Law & Trial Advocacy Academy: Experience the legal process and gain a broad introduction to the theory and practice of law. You’ll learn about case preparation, cross-examination and working with witnesses, and how to develop, argue and win a case, applying these skills during a mock trial simulation.

Designing Tomorrow - Engineering & Technology: Investigate a range of engineering disciplines and the technologies that are shaping the future. Providing a broad foundation to engineering, and an overview of the intersection of engineering and technology, this course will inspire students to take on the future’s grand challenges.

Inventing the Future - Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Sharpen creative thinking, business modelling, presentation and leadership skills by researching, designing and marketing new business ideas. This immersive programme will enable students to develop their entrepreneurial mindset into a successful business.
